If the console says that you should download the plugin despite the plugin already being installed on your Windows machine, there are a few reasons why this could be happening.
NOTE: The first thing is to check (if you are using Google Chrome/Edge), that it's not a Chrome/Edge Policy Issue
Below are some steps to guide in the troubleshooting after having checked the previous step:
1. The ADMIN plugin should be installed in C:\Program Files (86)\SightCall
you can check whether there is a plugin installed here C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Roaming\SightCall\
2. Run sysdm.cpl command in command prompt | Advanced tab | Environment Variables | check the user variables in Windows, under "Path", there should be a link to the plugin install, and only to the x86 path:
3. If these steps fail or throw any error, download Procmon, start capturing with the following filter and send us the results:
- Open the application and click on the filter icon:
- Change the condition to Process Name contains SightCall: (please make sure to change is to contains)
- Reproduce the Issue (Procmon is monitoring in the background)
- Bring Procmon to the foreground, click the Save Icon and send the logs (.pml) you captured after reproducing the issue:
