Dispatcher Agent: One agent to schedule a SightCall session for another agent

The Dispatcher role supports organizations where one team schedules sessions and another agent runs the call.

When to use this workflow

Use Dispatcher when scheduling is centralized and the person booking the session is not the person conducting it.

Enabling an agent as a Dispatcher

In Admin Portal > Users > Agent, open the agent to have this feature enabled.

Locate the setting checkbox in the 'User Settings' section:

How the Dispatcher workflow works

1. A Dispatcher creates or edits a Vision V3 session.

2. The dispatcher selects an eligible agent as Session host.

3. The Session host runs the call.

4. Invitation messages use the host's identity.
