The Agent and the Guest can draw or circle elements on the picture, page, shared window, or paused video by using annotations. This article explains how to use the freehand, circle, and eraser tools.

NOTE: Annotations have additional capabilities and can be enabled in a use case or scenario. For more information, refer to the Photo editing and annotation tools article.
Basic and advanced annotations
Depending upon how your scenario is configured, you may have basic or advanced annotations.
- Basic annotations provide a circle and freehand draw icon.
- Advanced annotations provide an Editing panel with options for freehand, shapes, symbols, animations, and text areas.

Options available in the agent console
You can draw or annotate on a picture, page, shared window, or paused video during a visual support session on the agent console (console.sightcall.com).
To take a picture To pause the video
When the video is paused or a picture is taken, the following features are accessible:
Icon | Name | Actions |
Circle | Selected by default. A left-click circles the selected element. | |
Freehand Draw | Click the “Circle” button to activate the draw button - One can draw freely by maintaining the left-click. | |
Eraser | Erases all annotations. |
Options available for guests
The Guest can also draw annotations on the picture or on the paused video:
- Circle by maintaining their finger or pen on the screen
- Draw on the screen directly with their finger
Exiting photo or video mode
Resume the normal session when you are finished.
