Enabling SCIM for users and groups provisioning is a very convenient way to manage SightCall users. With SCIM you can fully manage who gets access to SightCall directly from the Microsoft Entra/Azure portal.
The following configuration must be done by a Microsoft Admin
Connect to the Microsoft Entra admin center: Microsoft Entra admin center
-
Go to Applications / Enterprise applications
If an Enterprise application for SSO was already created for SightCall SSO integration, it cas be used for SCIM as well: Select this application so we can enable SCIM to handle the provisioning. You can skip steps 3 & 4 and go directly to step 5.
-
Create an Enterprise Application: + New application / + Create your own application
-
Set a name for your App (ex: SightCall Provisioning) and choose “Integrate any other app…” then press the “Create” button.
-
In the Enterprise app, choose “Provisioning” from the left sub-menu and then “Get Started”
-
Configure the provisioning:
Provisioning mode: “Automatic”
Tenant URL: https://api.sightcall.com/api/v3/scim
-
Secret Token: The SCIM token found in the SightCall Admin Portal administration tab
-
Test Connection
If you see a green check mark, you’re good to go! If not, please verify that the URL and token are valid. Save the configuration
Now you’re going to assign this app to users and/or groups. Only the users/groups you will select will be provisioned into the SightCall tenant.
Choose your app from the Enterprise Applications menu and select “Users and groups”. The list is empty for now.-
Choose “Add user/group” and select the users or groups you’d like to enable.
Note: If you’d like to assign a group, you should assign the entire group, NOT the individual users .
-
The configuration is terminated, you just need to activate the provisioning.
Go to the “Provisioning” menu and choose “Start provisioning”.
