Release deployment date: October 27, 2026, 3:00 PM CET
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 — SightCall Remote Visual Support Integration is now officially released. With Release 26.18, agents can start Remote Visual Support sessions from more types of Dynamics records.
What's new
Start sessions from more record types
Sessions could already be started from Incident/Case records. You can now also start a session from:
- Account
- Contact
- Work Order
- Custom Dynamics objects that your administrator configures
Admins control supported objects and field mapping
Administrators choose which Dynamics objects are supported. They do this in the Admin Portal, in the Microsoft Dynamics integration settings. For each supported object, administrators map these fields:
- Record name
- Contact email
- Contact phone
Pictures and reports stay with the right record
Saved pictures and session reports are attached to the Dynamics record the session was started from.
Before you start
- The integration must be set up for your tenant.
- Admin configuration is required. Sessions can only be started from objects that an administrator has added as supported objects.
At the time of release 26.18, the new package was still pending review before it is published in the Microsoft Store. The package was not required for deployment.
