When you are setting up a user in the admin portal (admin.sightcall.com), you can select which Profile or license type they will be using. The options are:
- Standard: The default profile enables the user to perform Visual Support calls. These license types are used for Desktop and Mobile Agents.
- Multiparty: This profile lets an agent be assigned a use case that has the multiparty feature enabled. The user can be assigned multiparty use cases that will enable them to add a guest and up to 6 attendees to a visual support session.
- Multiparty & Recording: Combines the ability to perform and record multiparty calls. A user with this profile can be assigned a use case that is set up for recording and/or multiparty.
Note that if you have a multiparty or recording use case, make sure that the user has the appropriate license type in order to be associated with that use case.
Number of licenses or profiles available
The license type purchased with your SightCall subscription determines the profiles and licenses available for your users.
A SightCall admin can see the available licenses by viewing the Users page in the admin portal.
Desktop and mobile agents share Total Users
Desktop and mobile agent licenses come from the Total Users licenses pool. If an agent uses both a desktop and a mobile device, they would require two licenses for two individual user accounts.
