LanguageLine is third-party language service that can be integrated into SightCall.
Using the LanguageLine integration allows a translator to be invited to a SightCall visual support session by an agent using the multiparty call feature.
The LanguageLine integration is not related to the OCR translation and speech translation features available in SightCall.
Requirements
For the integration to be available, you must have a current subscription with LanguageLine. SightCall will verify this subscription.
Your SightCall admin needs to configure a scenario (use case) with LanguageLine, multiparty, and recording enabled. Refer to Enabling LanguageLine translation service in a use case (requires sign in to view) for instructions.

Adding a LanguageLine interpreter during a session
To invite a LanguageLine interpreter to a visual support session:
- Start a session with a guest using a scenario with LanguageLine enabled.
- Once the guest has connected, select the Multiparty icon and select a language under Invite an interpreter.
- Select Send Invite.
- You will receive a notice when you request an interpreter and when the interpreter accepts the request.
